Welcome to Northern Wine Festival brought to you by Bacchus School of Wine
The aim of this event is simple: it aspires to be the most iconic celebrations of wine in the North of England!
Bacchus wants to bring the uniqueness of a trade event tasting to consumers; get to meet producers, try countless wines, experience new trends in the industry, enjoy masterclasses and, quite simply, have the most amazing time.
The festival is running for one day on Saturday 7th March 2026.
It will run across two sessions; one in the afternoon (11am-3pm) and one in the evening (4pm-8pm).
An iconic event for our city needs an iconic venue. Northern Wine Festival’s home is:
Crypt Hall, Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.
This is a ticketed event and your ticket will entitle you to your first 12 wine samples. Additional tasting cards (12 further wines) can be purchased at a reduced rate online. Masterclasses can be added to your day, again at a reduced rate if booked in advance online (further details below). Don’t worry, each session is 4 hrs long so you will have plenty of time to enjoy your 12 samples, a masterclass and even additional samples should you wish.
