How tickets for NWF work

All NWF sessions are mirror images of each other so simply select your preferred session across Friday and Saturday. The same applies to the Masterclass offerings as all three masterclasses can be booked across each of the festival’s three sessions.

Regardless of the session you choose to book, there are several booking options you may wish to consider:

Standard admission (£35)
As well as admission to the festival you will receive your exclusive NWF tasting card which entitles you to 12 wines. Ypu’ll also receive your branded NWF tasting glass which is yours to keep along with your festival tote bag. You’ll also get your festival brochure to help you decide who to visit and which wines to enjoy!

Level-Up with An Additional NWF Tasting Card (£25 for advanced booking (£30 on the day)

This will entitle you or your group to 12 additional wines.

Secure Yourself a Masterclass

All Masterclasses sold out during 2026’s NWF. Secure your spot with an advanced booking discount and avoid any disappointment. There are three Masterclasses to choose from (see below).

I Want It All

Tell Me More About Masterclasses

Fancy a Masterclass during your visit to Northern Wine Festival? Come hide away with the festival organiser and a selection of special guests for 45 minutes of the festival in the private Green Room and treat yourself to more wine and treats with a private audience. There are three Masterclass themes to choose from.

‘The Future of Wine’

Today’s emerging vines create tomorrow’s wine list! 6 Exclusive wines that are not available on pour in the wider festival; all representing the future of wine. Johnathan will introduce the theme and share his thoughts on the future of wine whilst you enjoy the first two wines. You’ll then be joined by two further special guests who will each introduce two wines each.

‘There’s A Bordeaux For Everyone’

Like a phoenix out of the flames, Bordeaux Wine Festival returns to Liverpool but under the NWF banner. If you attended one of the official events previously between 2018-2022, you’ll know how epic they were for the city. In 2027, NWF brings a smaller rendition of this event under the NWF banner. We plan to grow it each year. What’s more, for those lucky enough to secure a Masterclass, you will enjoy 6 exclusive Bordeaux wines not on pour in the wider festival and a private audience with 3 producers who will prove to you why there is a Bordeaux for everybody!

‘What Is It With Wine & Cheese?’

Why is wine and cheese so dam good together! The festival organiser will introduce this Masterclass and he’ll be joined by his good friend Lee from Crosby Cheese & Charcuterie. With 6 wines and 6 cheeses, they’ll unpick why this combo can’t be reckoned with. The aim will be to share 6 of the most successful wine and cheese pairings the planet has ever seen! A bold but true statement.
